a walk down memory lane

i really should be 1) sleeping or 2) writing my scholarship app essay but here i am, blogging away after a long hiatus.

so what prompted this entry?

the wonderful memories that come flashing back even as i look for photos to print to bring to camp and stick in my locker. the most unforgettable were kunming and london, both in 06. the camaraderie, the work put as a team, as an orchestra, as a collaborated effort, was worthwhile. on reflection, there are some similar aspects relative to army life. the brotherly camaraderie and the teamwork, as a section, as a platoon, as a company. no propaganda, just some thoughts.

this brings me to my next point. why i love ac so much, and would never regret joining AC IB, nor trade it for any other thing. the friendships forged, the bonds strengthened, the relationships established. the camaraderie, the culture that we made, the fun that we had, the work that we all went through. the deadlines the IAs the essays the exams. the AC years would never cease to be a lasting imprint in my memory. now that i’ve entered a new phase of my life, going through the motions of conscription, i fondly recall the last two school years and so often think about the wonderful times we had as a cohort. my kid is so going to AC, if i ever have one.

sleep calls, and its already way past lights out time.
